Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Juliette and I’m a certified yogi living outside of Washington, D.C. When I’m not on my mat, I can be found traveling the world working on finding my ‘inner-peace’.
After I finished my yoga training in the summer of 2016, I struggled with where I wanted to put this new knowledge to use. While I teach vinyasa and yin yoga classes weekly, I created this space to share the challenges of balancing my ideal zen life in the real world.
Currently living in a tiny town home with my significant other, Dan, we spend all of our spare time on planes, trains and automobiles trying to see as much of the world as we can. Travel snafus don’t do much for my peace of mind, so this is where I work out the kinks of having it all, while maintaining (at least a bit of) composure. This mindfulness seems to be an elusive concept that many hear about, but few can achieve. I’m here to determine what mindfulness means to each of us, and how we can incorporate it anywhere on the map! If you’re not sure where to go first, start here!
